Green Loan

The Brighte Green Loan is a fixed interest rate, structured the same way as a personal loan, and is used to finance energy efficient products.

The average Brighte customer saves over $1000 annually on their electric bill. This can offset your repayments in a big way.

How The Solar Power STC Scheme Works

With the Small-scale Technology Certificates (STC) scheme, households and businesses can benefit from installing solar PV systems.

STC financial incentives are provided under the current scheme based on the installed size of solar PV systems. Every year the financial incentives and number of STCs will reduce until the scheme expires in 2030.

The certificates are yours to sell to another agent, or you may exchange them with us for a discount on the total system and installation cost.

In addition to reducing the environmental impact of pollution from burning fossil fuels that would have been created if the electricity were created by burning fossil fuels, the number of certificates you are assigned is based on how much electricity your solar PV system produces during its lifetime.

A Solar PV system has an expected lifespan of 20 years.

How do I know if my system is eligible?

Certificates can only be created for eligible systems. You should check that your system is one that can give you certificates, before you buy it.

The system may be a solar water heater, solar panel, air source heat pump, or wind or hydro system.
